Well... Looking over my journal entries here, as I've made a return to the site, it turns out that it's been ages since I last wrote something for y'all to read. So, I wanted to let you know that I'm not dead yet, in fact I intend to live forever, and so far it's going pretty well.
Anyway, back in October 2013, which is the last time I wrote a journal entry, I wrote that I had been single for a year, and admittedly, reading that baffled me. Has it really been that long? Whoa.
I'm still single, and happily so. I haven't yet found someone that I've deemed worth spending my time with, which isn't that surprising since I send most of my time in front of the laptop, but I'm happy and honestly? That's all that matters.
I've taken up online post-by-post roleplaying, and after having tried out some different sites and genres, I think that I've finally found a site that I'm gonna stay at for a long time. Y'all aren't getting rid of me. I love this way of writing; I've always had this fantasy about writing my own book, but keeping my attention on things for longer periods of time. In this kind of writing, I write with other people, and that can bring your story to exciting new places, so you continuously gets surprised, and that is amazing. I've recently started drawing a bit again; mostly I'm exploring a more comic-like style, and so far it's of things/people from my roleplaying board, as you can see in the folder emPOWERED.
I've discovered The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, and I love her. She's funny, legit and amazing! I did a cosplay of her for SVScon a short while back, and I'm also bringing her to Genki con and HydraCon, here in a few weeks. One of my cosplay pictures was actually featured in The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #7! I was ecstatic when I saw that, as I had actually managed to forget that I send them a mail. I also tweeted Ryan and Erica, who is the writer and the artist behind the series, a cosplay I did of a sketch, and was featured on their tumblr. unbeatablesquirrelgirl.tumblr.…
It's far from the best picture, but it was around 1am, and I had just finished it. And who cares about the quality of your picture, when you make amazing people excited anyway?
